Happy Fall, oh how I adore Fall. The smells, the colors, the temperature, the feeling in my stomach as I drive with the windows cracked, slowing down my music selections. Oh how I love fall.
Things seem to slow down towards the end of fall, I like the sense of calm. I am so grateful to be working with a new store. Greenworks, located in Manayunk on Main Street, can you imagine hipper spot in that area... smile.
Greenworks carries an affordable high-end bamboo clothing line, E Chic Bags and Accessories, Candles, handmade art work, and more. The soothing yellow of the walls is inviting and will display everything beautifully. Located in between several yoga studios and other boutiques, I am excited to share this journey with everyone!
Thank you for all the support and love sent my way.
Cheers,
Emily

The E Chic Bags update!
I am so excited and proud of my updates and couldn't wait to share with my friends, fans, and family(not in the social network scene.
I want to acknowledge some really great boutiques that I am currently working with. Some of them I have been with for quite a while :-) I wouldn't be able to succeed online without these brick and mortar shops.
Hello Bluebird on Penn Ave in West Reading is just the sweetest gift boutique around. Alex is an amazing artist and business owner. Near the heart of where I grew up, left there to meet the best friends a girl could ever ask for, and finally came back to.
I recently moved from Phoenixville, PA where I met, and re-met some truly amazing people! My life has been positively changed so much that few words can describe it. Best Friends on Main Street is hip and chic, the perfect boutique to find the hidden gems of the high fashion world.
I am saddened and delighted to announce the closing of The Hodge Podgery 'store' in Harrisburg, PA. According to Dawn and Jess they are in a "metamorphosis" period and are NOT closing The HoPo. They will be online, and on the road! Wish them well, and keep following them! E Chic will be following and involved along the way with tons of support!
From the time I was in the womb I have been traveling to Cape May, NJ to walk along the bay, visit the shops, go to the zoo, and watch the sun set. It seems only too perfect to have my E Chic hair accessories in a Cape May boutique. Miss Demeanor is just seconds from the square that houses the famous Ugly Mug bar and restaurant. Kate and Julia have the hippest clothes, bathing suits, flirtiest dresses, and even some local [Philly] artist love, and not just E Chic Bags!
When in these areas please stop in to say Hi!
How about those who shop online as well...
Etsy! Etsy! Etsy! Need I say more?!

Getting Back to Blog
I blogged for awhile then slowly tapered off... for what reason, I don't know, life perhaps. Sadly I used that as an excuse to put my passion on hold a bit too. That didn't go over too well with my drive and motivation for life; that life that got in the way. So I took my head out of the dark wet sand and decided to live my life filled with my passions. Number one being sewing. It's what I have been doing as long as I can remember doing anything. I'm not up to date on the latest fashion or what celeb is wearing what. The focus of my passion is making a one of kind piece of art that you can be proud to own. My life motto, which has even been inked in my skin, "To Create, is to Love."
In high school I was coined most unique and wrote fashion articles in the school paper. In college No.1 I was part of a fashion show and made some huge life changes. College No. 2 I worked along side of designers, pattern makers, and artists from New York City and Philly. I never felt luckier in my life, but left there eager for more, and with a mere associates degree. I have since opened up online boutiques, and have my products in a handful of stores along the east coast. Slowly, but surely, E Chic Bags is growing and I am loving every single stitch of it.
So with all of that said... E Chic is back, and better than ever! This Blog will be the E Chic Bags News Letter, which I would like to get out weekly. It will not just be about me. It will be about my artist friends, local artists and art, and a lot more artsy fartsy stuff. So follow me and friend me and tweet with me and all that jazz, it'll be a fun re-inventing experience for both of us.
